How damaged are you?
Yesterday on Match.com a gentleman IM'd me to ask "How broken are you?" and "Can you be repaired?" Actually, i think I was broken during the time I was trying to fix my marriage. Now that I am happily single, I feel totally whole. I suppose there are all different sorts on dating websites, and some of them are very broken. I wonder how many of those on the site (men and women) ARE broken and broken beyond repair. How can you discover that they are in this state before they start stalking you?

I don't think you can really know until it's too late, but something my other single friends get asked and ask is "So you're attractive and fairly successful and seem nice. Why are you single?"

@Brandon - I don't actually get asked that anymore as most of the people close to me are either single and trying to date, or they understand just how difficult it is to find someone who clicks. And if the divorce rate is any indicator, clicking while dating doesn't indicate squat!
